Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher – Mount Prospect, IL
Pay: $40 per hour (local) or $1,400 weekly (travel)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in DHH Education

  • Familiarity with ASL, auditory-oral techniques, and assistive technologies

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Job Duties:

  • Deliver direct and consultative instruction to students with hearing loss

  • Support academic, language, and social-emotional development

  • Collaborate with school teams and families to implement IEP goals

  • Utilize visual communication methods and adaptive technologies
