Remote DHH Specialist - Advanced Virtual Services - Nashua, NH
Pioneer innovative deaf and hard of hearing education as a Remote DHH Teacher! This dynamic position combines specialized expertise with state-of-the-art virtual learning to serve students with hearing loss throughout New Hampshire.
Role Definition Lead comprehensive virtual educational services for students who are deaf and hard of hearing in a full-time remote capacity. Utilize cutting-edge technology platforms to deliver individualized instruction, assessment, and support services while collaborating with educational teams statewide.
Educational Services
- Comprehensive deaf and hard of hearing education across all grade levels
- Specialized communication instruction and development
- Academic content delivery with visual supports
- Hearing technology coordination and training
- Self-determination and advocacy skill building
- Career exploration and transition planning
Professional Responsibilities
- Virtual direct instruction and curriculum adaptation
- Communication and language assessment
- IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Audiological service coordination
- Student progress evaluation and reporting
- Family partnership and consultation
- Professional learning community participation
Credential Requirements
- Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
- Current New Hampshire Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience serving students with hearing loss
- American Sign Language proficiency required
- Knowledge of hearing technology and audiology
- Virtual teaching experience strongly preferred
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
