Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher – Nashua, New Hampshire
Local Pay: $42 staring hourly 
Travel Pay: $1,600 per week

We are looking for a committed Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to support students in Nashua, New Hampshire school district. This position allows you to provide specialized instruction, advocacy, and support to students with hearing differences, ensuring they have equitable access to education. About the Role
The DHH Teacher will design and deliver individualized instruction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You will work closely with classroom teachers, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and families to create inclusive learning opportunities and facilitate communication. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about supporting students in achieving both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
• Background checks and school employment clearances as required

Job Duties
• Develop and implement IEPs for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Provide instruction in communication, language, and academic subjects
• Support classroom teachers in adapting lessons and materials for accessibility
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with audiologists, SLPs, and other specialists
• Participate in professional development and maintain up-to-date certifications
