Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Derry, NH
This part-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing looking to support students across a K-12 caseload. The position requires 10-12 hours per month, beginning immediately and continuing through June 17, 2026. The role involves providing specialized services onsite at locations between two school sites in southern New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to deaf and hard of hearing students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed, ensuring consistent onsite presence.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports aligned with district and state requirements.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as directed.
Qualifications:
- Valid active licensure and certification in New Hampshire specifically related to deaf/hard of hearing education.
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Ability to manage and service a diverse caseload across multiple school sites.
- Completion of district fingerprinting and background verification.
- Flexible and available for Zoom interview as part of the selection process.
Location: Services will be provided onsite between schools in Hollis, NH, and Brookline, NH. Specific assignment location will be determined.
