We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide specialized academic support to students across our district.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Utilize a range of communication methods, including ASL and oral approaches, to support student learning and access to instruction

Assess student progress and contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
Qualifications

Active New Hampshire teaching license with DHH endorsement

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Patience and adaptability when working with students with diverse learning needs
