A dynamic school district in Wilmington, just 25 minutes from Newark, is seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of grade levels and settings while being part of a dedicated DHH team.
Position Overview:

Grade Levels: Pre-K – 12th

Caseload Size: 20–30 students

Service Model: Itinerant across 27 schools/programs
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 academic instruction across all content areas

Support students’ social, recreational, and communication needs

Collaborate with the district-wide Deaf and Hard of Hearing Team

Implement IEP goals and modify curriculum as needed

Serve as a resource for school staff and families
Requirements:

Active Delaware Teaching License

Teacher of Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Standard Certificate
