We are currently seeking a passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time position in Niceville, FL for the 2025/2026 school year. State and Federal Requirements:

Valid Florida Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Visual Disabilities (K–12).

Compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and ADA guidelines.

Background screening and fingerprint clearance as required by the state of Florida.

Familiarity with assistive technology and the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) is preferred.
Job Description / Duties:

Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments in a variety of school settings.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet students' unique visual and educational needs.

Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments.

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure access to curriculum.

Support student independence by teaching skills such as braille, assistive technology, and environmental adaptations.
