This opportunity is for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) serving students from preschool through 12th grade in a fully onsite, K-12 educational setting. Multiple itinerant positions are available, providing specialized instructional support across various grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional services tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Support communication and social development skills for DHH students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (K-12) licensure, Instructional I or II.
- Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students across multiple grade levels.
- Strong knowledge of instructional methodologies and assistive technologies for DHH education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Availability to work full-time; part-time candidates will also be considered.

- Position is based onsite in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
