Now Hiring: Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
Location: Tennessee – District-Wide, Itinerant Position
Schedule: Full-Time, Virtual (7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible schedule available)
Caseload: 10–15 students, ranging from elementary through high school
We are seeking a fully virtual, full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to join our supportive and collaborative district team. This is an itinerant position serving a district-wide caseload of students in grades K–12.
While our priority is to hire a full-time virtual candidate, we will also consider part-time in-person applicants who meet the qualifications.
Position Highlights:

Virtual position serving students across multiple schools

Caseload of approximately 10–15 students (elementary to high school)

Provide direct instruction, consultation, and IEP support
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
-
Monitor and support students’ communication, language, and academic development
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and progress monitoring
Requirements:

Valid Tennessee TDHH License
-
Experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

Strong communication and technology skills for virtual instruction

Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting

In-person candidates must be able to travel within the district (mileage reimbursement may apply)
