Local (W-2 Employment):
- Full school-year commitment (August–May)
- Hourly rate: $45–$52/hour (based on experience)
- Weekly direct deposit

- Flexible contracts: 4–12 weeks or semester-based
- Hourly rate: $52–$58+ (based on licensure, experience, and travel status)
- Weekly gross: $1,700–$2,000+ (includes tax-free stipends, if eligible)
- Housing and per diem included
- Reimbursements for travel expenses
- Conduct vision-related assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized TVI instructional plans
- Provide direct instruction in academics, functional vision, and technology
- Collaborate with O&M specialists, families, and school teams
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- TVI certification required
- Active California state licensure/certification (or eligibility)
- Prior school-based experience preferred
- Must pass background and fingerprinting requirements
