Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support the students. This full-time opportunity is open to both local professionals and qualified travelers, with comprehensive support and competitive compensation.
About the Role:

Serve K–12 students with hearing impairments in a variety of academic settings
-
Modify instructional materials and methods to promote full access and learning
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and IEP teams
-
Provide direct instruction, assessments, and progress monitoring
-
Utilize assistive technology and communication supports, including ASL
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Deaf Education or related field

Valid California teaching credential with DHH authorization
-
ASL fluency and experience with educational interpreting a plus
-
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Local Pay & Benefits (W-2):

Hourly: $58–$66/hour, depending on experience

Travel Pay & Benefits (W-2 or 1099):

Weekly gross: $2,000–$2,400+
