About the Position
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Oxford, NJ, to hire a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the current school year. This is a part-time, onsite position providing direct instructional support to one student who is deaf or hard of hearing. Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized instruction and support services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented.

Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.

Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings.

Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication and accessibility needs.
State Requirements

Must hold valid New Jersey certification as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Must meet all state and district credentialing requirements to provide specialized instruction.
Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
