Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Oxford, NJ
Pay: From $40-$43/hr, based off experienceBlazer Jobs is seeking a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a part-time position with a school district in Oxford, New Jersey. Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field

Active New Jersey Department of Education certification as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and experience using assistive hearing technology preferred

Experience working in school-based or special education settings strongly desired
Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative instruction to students with hearing impairments

Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations

Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt materials and teaching methods

Support and monitor the use of amplification devices and classroom communication systems

Foster inclusive communication practices and promote self-advocacy among students
