ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve students in grades K–12 for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site contract position located in Palo Alto, California. Compensation: $32.71 – $62.71/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) specific to DHH needs

Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to promote inclusion

Incorporate assistive technologies and communication tools into the classroom

Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:

Valid California certification or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education

Experience working with K–12 DHH students preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency with assistive listening devices and DHH-specific educational tools
