Job Title: Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
Location: Palo Alto, CA – Multiple School Sites
Contract Period: August 14, 2025 – June 4, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Rate: $105–$120 per hour (bill rate)
Students: K–12
Work Mode: Onsite only; virtual interviews provided
Position Overview
We're seeking a dedicated and credentialed DHH Teacher to deliver specialized services and instruction to K–12 students across multiple school locations in Palo Alto. This full-time, in-person role runs from mid-August 2025 through early June 2026.
Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students throughout K–12 grade levels.

Develop and implement student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor progress.

Utilize assistive technologies, communication modalities (e.g., ASL, speech), and accommodations to support language and academic development.

Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, parents, and therapists to promote inclusive and accessible learning environments.

Travel between school sites as needed without virtual or remote work options.

Active California Education Specialist Credential with Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) authorization.
