Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Educator to join a supportive school team in Panama City, Florida for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, onsite position will serve K–12 students and requires strong communication skills, a student-centered approach, and a passion for inclusive education.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in individual and group settings

Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers to support student success

Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Provide support in the development of IEPs and attend meetings as required

Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field

Valid Florida Department of Education certification in Hearing Impaired (K–12)

Strong understanding of auditory/oral, total communication, and ASL instructional methods

Previous school-based experience preferred

Must pass required background checks and meet Florida state compliance standards
