ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support K–12 students across Pennsylvania for the 2025–2026 school year. We collaborate with school districts statewide to place passionate educators in roles where they can make a meaningful difference in students’ academic and social growth.

Position Details

Locations: Openings statewide, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Allentown, Erie, Scranton, and surrounding areas

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 school year

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: Strong possibility for extension based on district needs and performance
Qualifications
-
Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement, or eligibility to obtain
-
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience teaching DHH students in K–12 settings preferred

Knowledge of IEP development, assistive technologies, and accessible teaching strategies

Must satisfy all state and district hiring requirements
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct, individualized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and related service providers
-
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs

Utilize assistive technology and visual supports to promote curriculum access

Encourage self-advocacy, communication skills, and academic progress
