Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Philadelphia, PA ($2,438/ WEEKLY!)

ProCare Therapy is seeking a talented Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a supportive school district in Philadelphia, PA. This opportunity provides competitive weekly pay, flexible local and travel options, and the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives.

Location

This position is based in Philadelphia, PA, where ProCare Therapy is hiring skilled DHH Teachers to support schools across the city.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure equal access to learning.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

  • Track student progress and communicate results to families.


Traveler Information

  • Must live 40+ miles from Philadelphia to qualify for travel stipends.

  • Duplicating expenses required (housing at home + near assignment).

  • Hotels, Airbnbs, and other rentals are accepted.

  • ProCare provides resources to help find housing.


Virtual Interview Process

All interviews are conducted virtually with camera on.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education.

  • Active Pennsylvania teaching license with DHH endorsement (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
