Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Develop, implement, and monitor educational plans tailored to students' unique communication and learning needs
- Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust strategies to promote academic and social development
- Provide consultation to families and participate in team meetings to ensure comprehensive student support
Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education is required
- Experience working with K-12 students in hearing impairment programs
- Strong understanding of language development and instructional strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining detailed records and reports
