Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support students across the Port St. Lucie area for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position that offers a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of students while working within a team that values both collaboration and autonomy.
This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about inclusive education and who is experienced in providing specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Whether you're working with students on communication strategies, coordinating with IEP teams, or serving as a vital liaison for families, your role will be key in shaping educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments

Support the development and implementation of IEPs

Collaborate with general education staff, special educators, and families

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Master's preferred)

Active Florida teaching certification with DHH endorsement

School-based experience preferred but not required

Strong communication and collaboration skills
