Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with the Virginia DOE standards
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and communication skills
- Monitor and assess student development to adjust instructional approaches as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with K-5 students preferred
- Ability to work onsite full-time; hybrid or remote work options are not available
