ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve K–12 students in Redwood City, California for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. Hourly Pay Range: $32.71 – $62.71 (dependent on experience and credentials)

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Develop, implement, and manage IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive practices

Utilize assistive technology and alternative communication tools in the learning process

Monitor and document student progress, modifying strategies as necessary

Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:

Valid California credential or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education

Experience with K–12 DHH students preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Familiarity with educational and assistive technologies used for students with hearing impairments
