ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve K–12 students across California for the 2025–2026 school year. We work closely with public school districts and charter organizations statewide to connect passionate educators with opportunities that make a meaningful impact on students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Position Details
Locations: Opportunities statewide, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, San Jose, Fresno, and surrounding areas
Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available
Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 school year
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit
Contract Renewal: Renewal opportunities based on district needs and performance
Qualifications
-
Valid California Education Specialist Credential – Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain)

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with DHH students (K–12 preferred)

Knowledge of IEP development, assistive technology, and inclusive teaching strategies

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction to meet the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with individual goals

Utilize assistive technology and classroom accommodations to improve access

Foster communication skills, confidence, and academic progress
