A full-time position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing specializing in Early Intervention and K-12 educational services. This contract role starts January 5, 2026, and runs through June 5, 2026, based onsite in Long Beach, CA. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing educational and intervention services to a caseload of 35 students ranging from infants to 22 years old.
  • Conducting consultative services and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Delivering itinerant support across the assigned school district with collaboration from program staff.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Authorization.
  • Experience teaching students with hearing impairments, preferably in K-12 settings.
  • Strong knowledge of early intervention techniques and individualized education planning.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively alongside educational teams.
