Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | Rowland Heights, California
This full-time position as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist serves a K-12 school district in Rowland Heights, CA, providing essential support to infants through young adults up to 22 years old. The assignment runs from January 5 to June 5, 2026, and is an onsite itinerant role working approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include delivering early intervention services, managing a caseload of 35 students, consulting with families and educational teams, and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role requires collaboration within the program, with full support available to ensure successful student outcomes.
Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid CTC Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Authorization
- Demonstrate experience working with infants and infants’ Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
- Skilled in providing specialized educational services to students from infancy through age 22
- Strong understanding of early intervention strategies and consultative practices
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
