We’re seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a supportive district team in Rowland Heights, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. This onsite, itinerant position focuses on early intervention services and provides meaningful instruction and advocacy for students from infants through age 22.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional services for students with hearing impairments
- Conduct consultations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with families and staff
- Support students across multiple school sites in an onsite itinerant schedule
- Assist with the use of assistive technology and communication devices
- Maintain professional documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Work alongside a supportive team within the program
- Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Active California Teaching Certification in Deaf Education preferred
- Experience supporting students with hearing impairments, infants to young adults
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks
