Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - San Antonio, TX
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support kindergarten students for the 2025–2026 school year. This role involves providing specialized instructional support, collaborating with school teams, and ensuring accessible learning environments for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to kindergarten students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Utilize ASL fluently to communicate and instruct as required

Develop and implement individualized educational plans
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning
-
Travel to assigned school sites as needed
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications:

Active educator certification required
-
ASL fluency required (to be demonstrated in interview)

Experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
Ability to work across multiple school sites if needed
