Requirements:
- Must have an active California License in Deaf Education
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
- Educator Credential: Education Specialist with Deaf/Hard of Hearing Endorsement
- You do not have to be fluent in ASL to be considered for this position
About the Position:
- ASAP - June 2026
- Full-time: up to 40 hours each week
- Early childhood caseload, specific details will be provided during the interview process
- Provide language and communication support to students by utilizing a variety of approaches, including sign language, speech, lip-reading, and written communication.
- Foster language development, vocabulary acquisition, and effective communication skills.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, interpreters, and other professionals to ensure the effective inclusion of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input and recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and services.

- $40 -60 an hour, depending on experience
