Position Snapshot:

Location: Statewide opportunities in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Fresno, San Jose, and beyond

Schedule: Full-time & part-time openings

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year

Pay: Highly competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

Renewal: Strong chance of contract renewal depending on district needs and performance
Qualifications:
-
Valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential with DHH authorization (or ability to obtain)
-
ASL proficiency and a deep understanding of Deaf culture
-
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
-
Experience with educational accommodations and assistive technology
-
Prior experience with K–12 DHH populations is a plus
Responsibilities:

Deliver customized instruction to meet the unique needs of DHH students

Collaborate with general educators, families, and service providers
-
Monitor and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Advocate for language-rich and accessible classroom environments

Promote self-confidence and communication skills in students
