Support Students from Early Childhood to Transition DHH Teacher
Job Type: Full-Time, Itinerant | EC–Transition (Consultative focus until June)
Hourly Pay: Starting at $38/hr (based on experience)

We’re hiring a full-time, itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) in San Francisco, CA, serving students from Early Childhood through Transition. The position is primarily consultative until June and provides a districtwide caseload with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide consultative support and direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to implement IEPs
-
Plan and adapt programs of study to meet individual student needs, interests, and abilities

Support students with assistive technology and communication strategies

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
-
Foster student engagement and success across EC–Transition grade levels
Qualifications / Requirements:
-
Master’s Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students

Active California Teaching Certification in Deaf Education
-
Experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred

Ability to travel districtwide (itinerant role)

Must pass background and fingerprint checks
