Position Overview
We are seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time role in Schertz, Texas, serving students with varying degrees of hearing loss across school campuses.
Responsibilities
-
Provide direct instruction to students based on IEP service minutes
-
Support communication needs of students using ASL, spoken language, or combined approaches
-
Collaborate with educators and interpreters to ensure full academic access

Complete progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation

Attend ARD and team meetings
-
Partner with families to strengthen support beyond the classroom
Qualifications

Active Texas DHH Teaching License required

Strong understanding of auditory access and DHH instructional strategies
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-
Ability to serve multiple campuses as needed
