Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a dedicated school district team in Seattle, Washington for the 2025–2026 school year.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students with hearing loss using specialized strategies and tools

Collaborate with audiologists, speech pathologists, and general education teachers to modify content for accessibility

Support the use and troubleshooting of hearing assistive technologies (e.g., FM systems, cochlear implants)

Develop and implement IEP goals based on individual student needs
-
Promote language development, communication skills, and self-advocacy among students
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Washington teaching license with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement

Familiarity with ASL, cued speech, and auditory-verbal techniques

Must meet all federal and state educational requirements for special education teachers
