ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve K–12 students across Washington State for the 2025–2026 school year. We connect educators with school districts statewide that are committed to providing high-quality, individualized instruction and language access to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Position Details

Locations: Openings statewide, including Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Olympia, Bellingham, Yakima, and surrounding districts

Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: Strong potential for extension based on district needs and performance
Qualifications
-
Valid Washington State teaching certificate with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement or eligibility to obtain
-
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with DHH students in K–12 settings preferred
-
Knowledge of IEP development, assistive technology, and differentiated instruction

Ability to meet all state and district employment standards
Responsibilities

Deliver tailored instruction and communication support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Collaborate closely with general education staff, interpreters, and specialists
-
Ensure students’ access to curriculum through assistive technology and accommodations
-
Promote language development, self-advocacy, and academic achievement
