Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf, going Deaf, or have limited hearing
-
Develop and implement IEPs that address academic, communication, and social needs

Utilize ASL and other communication methods to support student understanding and participation

Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment

Perform assessments, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
Requirements:

Must be ASL Proficient

Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or a related field

Washington State DHH Certification (active or in process)
-
Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
