Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Florida Department of Education certification in Hearing Impaired K–12
-
Experience working with students with hearing impairments in educational settings
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills with IEP teams
Role Duties:
-
Provide direct instruction to students with hearing impairments
-
Adapt curriculum and assessments based on student needs and IEP goals
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, audiologists, interpreters, and families
-
Support auditory/oral and/or total communication approaches as appropriate
