Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Deaf Education or related field

  • Valid Florida Department of Education certification in Hearing Impaired K–12

  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments in educational settings

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with IEP teams

Role Duties:

  • Provide direct instruction to students with hearing impairments

  • Adapt curriculum and assessments based on student needs and IEP goals

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, audiologists, interpreters, and families

  • Support auditory/oral and/or total communication approaches as appropriate

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $60.33. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
