Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for an itinerant role across K-12 schools in Arlington, VA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position involves working with students across multiple locations to provide specialized instruction and support.
Responsibilities:
- Travel between school sites to deliver services to K-12 students with hearing loss.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct instruction using appropriate communication methods (e.g., ASL, oral communication).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
- Valid Virginia teaching certification in Deaf Education.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to learn.
