Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Caseload: K–12 students across multiple schools

Role Overview: Provide specialized instruction and support for students with hearing loss, including direct services, consultation with teachers and staff, and participation in IEP meetings.
Requirements

Must hold a Washington State Teaching Certificate with a Deaf Education or ESA endorsement
-
Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
-
Experience in aural habilitation required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Deaf Education, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in special education or DHH settings
-
Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers and support staff
-
Knowledge of research-based teaching strategies and assistive technology for students with hearing loss

Ability to implement IEP goals and provide progress monitoring

Skilled in both oral and manual communication methods
