ProCare Therapy is working with a wonderful School District in Tacoma, WA that is seeking a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to begin as soon as possible and continue through June 16, 2026.

Caseload: K–12 population; students supported both in general education and specialized settings

Description: The DHH Teacher will provide direct instruction to students with hearing impairments, collaborate with classroom teachers, and adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual student needs.
Requirements
-
Washington State Licensure with DHH or ESA endorsement
-
Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
-
Experience in aural habilitation
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Deaf Education, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing services across a range of educational settings
-
Ability to work effectively with interpreters, audiologists, and general education staff
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Knowledge of assistive listening technology and individualized supports for students with hearing loss
