Seeking experienced educators specializing in support for students with sensory impairments for a contracted elementary school position located in Grand Prairie, TX. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as those who are visually impaired, through telehealth services.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored educational support and intervention for students with hearing and visual impairments.
- Utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct effective remote instruction and therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with school staff to adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records to inform ongoing instructional strategies.

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Teacher for the Visually Impaired.

- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines.
