Remote Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Texas
A specialized role is available for a Telehealth Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing serving K-12 students. This position is designed to provide targeted educational support and resources through remote instruction.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct instruction to four students on a caseload, focusing on Deaf / Hard of Hearing IEP goals.
- Participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to advocate for student needs and track progress.
- Managing a flexible schedule to ensure effective service delivery within designated hours on the assigned day.
This assignment covers a full school year on a part-time basis, specifically one day per week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The location of service is in New Braunfels, TX.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Proven expertise as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing with telehealth experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans aligned with DHH student needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engagement with students, families, and educational professionals.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage a part-time schedule and tailored student caseload effectively.
