Instructional Focus

• Elementary through secondary deaf and hard of hearing services
• Academic content instruction with communication accommodations
• Language development across multiple modalities
• Auditory skill training and development
• Technology integration and digital literacy
• Social skills and peer interaction facilitation

Primary Duties

• Develop and implement individualized education programs
• Provide direct virtual instruction in specialized areas
• Collaborate with audiologists and related service providers
• Conduct communication and language assessments
• Support mainstream curriculum access
• Maintain detailed progress monitoring
• Engage families in educational decision-making

Essential Requirements

• Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education or equivalent
• Current Ohio Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching certification
• Two years minimum experience in deaf/hard of hearing education
• Proficiency in American Sign Language
• Understanding of hearing loss impact on learning
• Remote instruction experience preferred
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
