We are currently hiring DHH Teachers for schools in two vibrant cities:

Responsibilities:
-
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in the classroom.
-
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
-
Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
-
Monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
-
Ensure all students have full access to the curriculum, promoting inclusion and participation.
-
Advocate for students’ communication and social-emotional needs, creating a nurturing environment.
-
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, updating them on student progress and addressing concerns.
Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
-
Valid state certification in Deaf Education or an equivalent (or eligibility to obtain certification in the state of placement).

Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, preferably in an educational setting.

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other alternative communication methods.
-
Strong collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and administrators.
