Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective communication and inclusion
- Utilize strategies, technology, and assessments specific to the DHH curriculum
- Maintain compliance with state and district educational standards and licensing requirements
- Participate in student evaluations, progress monitoring, and relevant meetings
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching License
- Active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license
- Proven experience in supporting and educating students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Fayette County
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
