Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our district in Westwood, MA!

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree: Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

MTEL Communication and Literacy Skills Test: Required to pass the Massachusetts educator licensing test

Subject Matter Knowledge: Must show knowledge in areas such as audiology, language development, and instructional methods for deaf and hard of hearing students

ASL Proficiency: If pursuing the ASL/Total Communication designation, must pass an approved ASL proficiency test

Practicum Experience: Must complete supervised field experience with deaf and hard of hearing students in an educational setting
