Teacher of the Visually Impaired Job Houston, TX
Sunbelt is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Houston, TX area. This is a full-time position for this school year. 

Job Qualifications: 

• Teacher of the Visually Impaired license that is valid in TX

• Proficiency in Braille, assistive technology, and orientation & mobility principles.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational teams.

• Provide direct and consultative services to students (PreK–12) with visual impairments across various educational settings.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to visual and academic needs.

• Instruct students in Braille, use of low vision aids, and accessible technology tools.

• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure access to curriculum, independence, and inclusion.

• Full-time.
