It’s called the Bluegrass State for a reason. Kentucky is filled with rolling hills of lush, deep blue-green pastures. Of course, it is also associated with Churchill Downs, where the Kentucky Derby takes place. This is one of the three biggest horse races, making up part of the famous Triple Crown. Horses have long been associated with the state, and you could enjoy attractions such as the Kentucky Horse Track, the Kentucky Derby Museum, and Keeneland. Don’t think Kentucky is only about horses though. It is also home to Mammoth Cave National Park, the Louisville Slugger Museum, Louisville Zoo, the Ohio River and the Creation Museum.
Kentucky is also the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, and you will want to visit the Lincoln Memorial National Historic Park. There are 29 state parks throughout Kentucky, and many of them offer historic attractions and beautiful natural surroundings. On a national level, the state boasts Daniel Boone National Forest, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, Kentucky Woodlands National Wildlife Refuge, and Reelfoot Wildlife Refuge. There is plenty of beautiful scenery and woodlands all around the state, and all of them offer different, but equally breathtaking views to enjoy.
From Louisville to Lexington, from Frankfort to Bowling Green, there are plenty of places to search for deaf and hard of hearing jobs throughout Kentucky.
