Key Qualifications:

- Proficiency with American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modalities preferred.
- Experience collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success.
- Previous work supporting students across a range of ages and hearing abilities is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging, accessible lesson plans meeting each student’s unique needs.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Advocate for accommodations, assistive technology, and resources promoting equitable learning.
- Conduct staff training and provide consultative support to ensure classroom inclusivity.
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families, encouraging active participation in the educational process.
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and district requirements.
