Position Summary:

Join our team as a dedicated and qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) for the 24/25 school year in Forest Lake, MN. In this role, you'll work with approximately 25 students across the district, providing specialized instruction and support to meet their educational needs.

Location: Forest Lake, MN
Start Date: September 4, 2024
End Date: June 6, 2025
Hours: Full-time; 37.50 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday

Key Details:

  • Caseload: Approximately 25 students, district-wide.
  • Other Info: Must be licensed in Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and relevant professionals to ensure student success.
  • Utilize appropriate technology and teaching strategies to enhance learning.

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching license in Minnesota with certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education.
  • Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
