Position: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher
Location: Near Santa Ana, CA
Pay: $41-$54/hr (Based on Experience)
Hours: Part-time (20-25 hours/week)
Duration: Extended School Year with Possible Renewal for Next School Year
About the Role:
As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in this e district, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with hearing challenges. Collaborating with a team of educators and specialists, you'll develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), provide specialized instruction, and support students in accessing curriculum materials and technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Valid California Teaching Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Authorization
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
