ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in Trumbull, CT that is interested in joining one of our trusted school districts for the 2024-2025 school year. Job Description:
- High School Caseload:
- Full-Time: 4 days/Wk
- ASAP start through '24/'25 School Year
•Provide instruction to both Deaf and hearing students
•Utilize various communication methods (e.g., sign language, speech) to accommodate diverse learning needs
•Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
•Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success
Requirements:
•Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
•Teaching certification or relevant experience in Connecticut
•Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency
•Passion for inclusive education
